Cycle Resonance

Two layers in your cycle-blueprint — the natal archetype (steady) and the cycle phase (moving) — sometimes point the same direction and sometimes pull against each other. Resonance is the read of when they agree.

How resonance is scored

Each cycle phase has an expected direction:

• Reset (menstruation): inward, restorative
• Build (follicular-phase): outward, generative
• Peak (ovulation): expressive, social
• Release (luteal-phase): inward, integrative

Each archetype has a primary verb — from your Personality Blueprint. The Igniter ignites, The Tide softens, The Builder builds, The Excavator excavates.

Resonance scores on a simple matrix: when the phase direction and the archetype verb pull the same way, the day resonates. Build-phase + The Igniter = high resonance. Release-phase + The Tide = high resonance. Release-phase + The Igniter = low resonance.

Why it shows up only weekly

Daily resonance reads turn into prescription faster than weekly ones. If you saw "today is non-resonant" every morning, the temptation would be to push through, or worse, give up. Surfaced once a week in the recap, the read becomes context — "this week ran against the grain" — without becoming a daily judgment.

What resonance is not

• A productivity signal. We do not say "do hard things on resonant days."
• A green light or red light. Both kinds of days teach you something.
• A predictor. Resonance is a description of what tends to feel easier, not what will happen.

What it is useful for

• Noticing why a week felt harder than the chip pattern alone would predict.
• Calibrating expectations for upcoming weeks — if a high-stakes week lands in a non-resonant window, the awareness is useful.
• Reading your letters-from-past-self with one more layer of context.
